The 2021 National Conference on Interstate Milk Shipments (NCIMS) will now be held on April 7-12, 2022 at the J.W. Marriott in Indianapolis, Indiana. Out of an abundance of caution the NCIMS Executive Board and State Voting Delegates decided that a further postponement of the next NCIMS Conference from September 2021 until April 2022 was warranted. This change of dates will allow the NCIMS to hold in-person Committee, Council, General Session and Executive Board meetings, along with networking opportunities similar to the past conference schedule of events.

The new dates will help encourage full attendance by the State Voting Delegates, state regulators, dairy industry representatives and U.S. Food and Drug Administration officials, that are essential for a productive and successful conference.

The NCIMS Executive Board and Program Committee will be working to develop more information about the full conference program and a timeline for submitting proposals in the coming months. Due to the ongoing national public health emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the resulting restrictions on travel impacting regulatory agencies and industry, the 2021 NCIMS Conference originally scheduled for April 9-14, 2021, in Indianapolis, Indiana, is postponed.

While specific details of the Conference format and agenda are still being developed, the NCIMS Executive Board and Program Committee have tentatively identified September 10-14, 2021 as the new dates for the 2021 Conference still to be held in Indianapolis, IN.

Additional information with more details on the revised Conference agenda will be released within the next few weeks. In the meantime, please mark your calendars with the dates above, and thank you in advance for your understanding and patience as we all navigate these unique and unprecedented times.
